The CEO Dinner series is one of the organization's longest standing institutions. Professional Members have the opportunity to join local C-suite and high level executive leaders for a private dinner. These events are intentionally limited to 10-20 people so everyone has a chance to listen, learn, share and grow together through honest discussion. The speakers represent a wide range of companies and industries, both big and small. Cost to attend is $35, which includes dinner and non-alcoholic beverages at Taza Lebanese Grill. A cash bar is available.
About the CEO
Sia Nyorkor is an Emmy and award-winning journalist who brings more than 20 years of experience working on television, radio, documentary, digital, social and OTT platforms.
In 2025, Sia joined 3News at WKYC-TV in Cleveland, OH where she files nightly reports and anchors “Front Row” with Mike Polk and “What’s Next” with Russ Mitchell.
Sia previously worked at 19 News at WOIO where she was a Multimedia Reporter and Weekend Anchor from 2015-2024 covering the Cavs historic championship, the RNC, Presidential election, the World Series and the Facebook Killer stories, to name a few.
After the death of George Floyd in 2020, Sia and 3 other journalists at WOIO-TV created the award-winning series “The Next 400.” The stories took a “deeper dive” into topics like systemic racism, housing discrimination, policing, education, social justice, public health, contemporary life and more. The stories also offered ideas and solutions on how the next 400 years could and should look like for society.
In 2021 & 2022, Sia’s series of reports “The Next 400: #DefendBlackWomen” & “The Next 400: Digging into the Tangled Roots of Black Hair Culture” received national recognition with Gracie Awards from the Alliance From Women in Media Foundation.
Sia and her reports have been featured on national shows such as TV One's Fatal Attraction, Oxygen's Snapped, Crime Stories with Nancy Grace and the Investigation Discovery channel.
Sia holds a Bachelor of Arts Journalism from Indiana University's Ernie Pyle School of Journalism and a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University in the City of New York. Her master's thesis was an award-winning documentary film about a Harlem muralist that broadcast on public television stations across the nation.
Active with the National Association of Black Journalists, Sia serves at the local and national level and is a mentor to young, aspiring journalists. She is also a member of the public service sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Greater Cleveland Alumnae Chapter.
Sia is a parishioner at Church of St. Dominic in Shaker Heights and volunteers at St. Augustine Hunger Center in Tremont. In 2019, she was honored with a Community Service award for feeding the hungry. Last year, Cleveland Magazine selected Sia as one of the “Most Interesting People” to know; the movers, shakers and doers making a difference in Northeast Ohio.
