Executive Team


Alex Schauer - President

Alex works as a Client Executive in the Cleveland office of Schauer Group, Inc. with an emphasis on employee benefits and human capital managment.

He earned his bachelor’s of science in biomedical engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2015 and is currently attending the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve to earn his MBA. Alex is working to obtain his SHRM-SCP designation.

Alex also serves as the Volunteer Coordination Committee Co-Chair for Shoes & Clothes for Kids and serves on the Diversity Committee for the Cleveland Society for Human Resources Management. He currently resides in West Park with his future wife, Raleigh, and their dog, Duke.

Kayla Gray - President Elect

Kayla Gray has over a decade of research experience. She received her bachelors of science from Case Western Reserve University with honors in Chemical Biology and has master’s courses in Applied Anatomy.  Currently, Kayla works tirelessly to further Eversight’s research initiatives. In her short tenure, she has been instrumental in the design and build out of the Eversight biorepository laboratory at the Cleveland location and has become part of the greater biobanking community. She has authored and implemented new standards of practice and has presented at several conferences across the country and won awards for her innovative work. Beyond her scientific work, Kayla is actively involved in the Cleveland theatre community. Most recently, she has performed in Beck Center for the Art's production of "The Little Mermaid" and has worked with several playwrights with their readings. When Kayla isn't in the lab or on stage, she can be seen participating in STEAM outreach in conjunction with the Great Lakes Science ensuring the arts and science work together harmoniously or experimenting in the kitchen to create edible masterpieces.

Carly Boyd - Secretary

Carly grew up in Dublin, Ohio before attending the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. While at the U of I, Carly studied broadcast journalism and television production. However, Carly wanted to branch into the study of law and attended law school at Case Western Reserve University. Despite having plans to use her Law, Technology & the Arts concentration, Carly fell into the area of family law. Carly’s current practice is solely focused on family law, including any matter before the Domestic Relations and Juvenile Division.

Outside of her professional career, Carly is involved in the local church and Cleveland PFLAG as an ally/family member. Carly currently lives on the Westside and has enjoyed exploring the Metroparks with her dog, Paris.

Mike Vuraich - Treasurer

Mike attended Ohio University where he obtained his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and Bachelors of Science in Sports Management. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and currently works as a Manager in the Assurance Department at BDO USA, LLP. He is a lifelong Clevelander and avid Cleveland sports fan. Mike joined The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club to connect, both professionally and socially, with other young professionals throughout the city.

Chris Diehl - General Counsel

Chris is a Northeast Ohio native and obtained his B.B.A. in Accounting from Ohio University and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He is currently a Senior Associate with Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur, LLP's Cleveland office, with a focus on representing banks and other financial institutions in documenting commercial loan transactions. Chris resides in Westlake, with is wife, Allison, and their son, Ben.

Hue DeLuca - Communication Director

Drew is from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and graduated from Allegheny College with a degree in managerial economics. He was fortunate enough to become a Big Brother in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization, allowing him to give back and connect to the local community. Drew is involved with the Chagrin Falls Chamber of Commerce as well as The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club. He works as a Financial Professional with Skylight Financial Group.

Seeking to be a part of a group that offers connections and growth, Drew joined The Professional Cleveland 20/30 Club. Within months of being with the club, he had connected both socially and professionally with a number of club members at various events. 

He is excited about the growth of Cleveland over the past several years, and knows that Cleveland is “THE LAND” of limitless potential thanks to the amazing young professionals in this city. He believes these difference-makers involved with education, networking, entertainment, social, philanthropic, health care and entrepreneurial activities are the drivers of growth in this city.

Corinna Bartholomew - Social Director

Corinna Emma Bartholomew is a graduate of the Walsh University Class of 2015. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Shortly after, she attained her Registered Nurse licensure and began working as a nurse at the Cleveland Clinic, Hillcrest branch. As of January 2018, she works at Main Campus Cleveland Clinic as an outpatient nephrology nurse. She currently resides on the west side of Cleveland, but grew up in the small town of Uniontown, Ohio.

She is very glad she moved up to the city because she loves Cleveland and everything it has to offer. She is actively involved in several different organizations around Cleveland because of this. As the Social Director, she looks forward to planning exciting and interesting events for the young professionals of Cleveland, to showcase some of Cleveland’s hottest and trendiest spots. In her spare time she likes to travel, explore, attend church, paint, exercise, and spend time with her family and friends.

Brian Castle - Membership Director

Brian grew up in Canton before heading to Ohio State University, where he graduated in 2010 with his degree in Accounting and Finance. After college he moved to six different locations across the country as part of his job with Eaton, having to build a new social and professional network each time. He is currently the Controller for Eaton's Aerospace business located in Euclid, Ohio and has been in Cleveland since 2016.

He joined the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club as a way to grow his social network in the Cleveland area. Brian has enjoyed getting to explore parts of the city he would not have seen otherwise and making connections with people who have made his life better in multiple ways. When not working or attending club events, Brian enjoys hiking, cooking, and taking salsa dance lessons.

Mark Vondrak - Networking Director

Mark grew up in Sagamore Hills, Ohio and graduated from Nordonia High School in 2006 where he played football and baseball. He attended Bowling Green State University and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as an Accounting major in 2010. He also obtained an MBA from Cleveland State in 2013. Mark currently works at Quality Electrodynamics (QED), a manufacturer of medical equipment located in Mayfield Village, Ohio, where he is the Inventory Control Supervisor. Mark became a member of The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club in July 2014 because he was looking to contribute to the resurgence of Cleveland in a greater capacity, and in May 2015 was elected to position of Networking Director. Mark believes that the resurgence of Cleveland is real and the group of people that is going to make it sustainable is the young professionals here that really care about seeing Cleveland become a top-tier city once again.

Ian Seybold - Education Director

Ian attended the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee where he obtained a bachelors in Economics and an MBA.  After graduating, he moved for work to the Cleveland area.  He works for Airgas as a Financial Analyst.

In his free time Ian enjoys learning, sports, cooking, eating, beer and any kind of competition!  Ian currently lives in Lakewood. 

Ana Shadel - Marketing Director

A nation's traveler, Ana Shadel is the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club's new Marketing Director! Since graduating Ohio University in 2013, Ana has had the opportunity to experience numerous industries and locations throughout the U.S. From working at Walt Disney World in Orlando, to traveling the world planning events for big name clients in Denver - she's been able to dip her toes in the hospitality and event-planning industry, as well and sales and marketing. Currently overseeing the marketing at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, Ana seeks to utilize her skills and make a significant impact. When she's not working, she's either gaming, adventuring, or socializing!

Paul Conley - Sponsorship Director


My name is Paul Conley and I am a Cleveland 20/30 Board Member and Sponsorship Director. I am the Executive Director of the Geauga Family YMCA and a graduate of Bowling Green State University. In my spare time I enjoy sports, reading, checking out new Cleveland spots, and being involved in the community.


Aram Avetisyan - Technology Director

Aram grew up in Yerevan, Armenia and moved to the U.S. in 2000. He moved to Cleveland in 2013 to accept a job at Progressive Insurance, and currently works as a Sr. Systems Test Engineer in Quality Assurance.

Aram joined the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club in hopes of expanding his professional network and utilizing his technical skills to help advance the Club’s goals.

Aram enjoys the outdoors, traveling, playing music and drinking Armenian Cognac. He also enjoys exploring new places around the Cleveland area, constantly finding new breweries and interesting places to visit.

Melanie Raese - Director At-Large

Melanie is from Medina and attended Ohio University where she studied business and German. While studying abroad in Salzburg, Austria she developed a liking for meeting new people, learning the history and culture of cities and expanding her horizons with enriching experiences. After living in western Ohio for several years, Melanie is excited to be back in Cleveland. The city is thriving and has much to offer. She especially enjoys the waterfront, Cleveland sports, cultural events and the diverse food and craft microbrew scene. Melanie works at Travelers Insurance as an Account Executive for Management Liability Lines

Since returning to Cleveland, she has been expanding her professional and personal contacts and was introduced to The Professional Cleveland 20/30 Club. Melanie values the Club initiatives and joined the Board as the Philanthropy Director to both showcase what the city has to offer and to help members feel connected and engaged through volunteerism efforts in our communities.

Elza Ter-Arutyunov - Director At-Large

Elza grew up in Northeast Ohio -living both on the west and east sides of town at different parts of her life. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from John Carroll University and went on to get her MBA from Cleveland State University. After completing her MBA, Elza decided to pursue a dream she's had for a while, and moved abroad to live and volunteer. She lived in Armenia for a year and a half, volunteering, working and learning everything there was about her country. 


In 2014, Elza moved back to Cleveland and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly and tremendously the city was changing. She had been a member of The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club before and was eager to rejoin upon her relocation back to the city.

In her free time, Elza loves exploring Cleveland's hidden corners, learning about Cleveland's history, practicing photography and traveling!

Joe Bianchini - Director At-Large

Joe is from North Olmsted, Ohio, and graduated from Cleveland State University (CSU) with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and promotional communication in 2011. Joe wears many hats and works for Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) and the Cleveland Indians, both located at the corner of Ontario and Carnegie Ave. At Tri-C, Joe is a coordinator for the office of resource development & Tri-C Foundation, providing funding resources and scholarship opportunities. For the Cleveland Indians, you will more than likely find Joe at the gates, working as a game-day security guard.

Joe also currently serves on the marketing committee for CSU’s Young Alumni Council board. Joe is all about promoting and spreading the message to others. He’s very visual, creative and all about the arts. Joe recently joined the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club board to offer young professionals that opportunity to connect and be a part of Cleveland more, both socially and professionally at various CLE festivities, events, museums, theaters, galleries, concerts and other entertainment venues.

In his spare time, Joe does a lot! He enjoys watching movies and TV shows, drawing caricatures, playing baseball, footgolf, bowling, volleyball and going swimming. He also likes to volunteer, enjoys selling things at the Berea Flea Market and likes to venture out and about around Cleveland with his family and friends.

Trivia about Joe: Being a movie buff as he is, Joe loves popcorn, has a huge movie collection and even has been saving his movie stubs since 2002. Joe also has met many B-list actors from the big screen and still pops in a VHS tape from time to time to watch a classic flick!

Jesse DiFranco - Director At-Large

Working in the advertising industry, Jesse Difranco likes to keep up to date on new trends and communicating with others is the best way to get that accomplished. With a degree in Communications from Kent State, Jesse loves coming across different kinds of people and learning their hobbies and passions. As a Cleveland native, he also wants to know all he can about the amazing things this great city has to offer - the Club serves all of these functions.

Jesse DiFranco joined the board for The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club because he saw it as a place for Clevelanders to come together, learn from one another, make great connections and become a true part of the city they call home. His time in the Club has allowed him the chance to branch out, try new things and create strong friendships and business connections. 
When not at a Club event, Jesse works as an Account Executive at Marcus Thomas. When not working or networking, he's most likely nurturing his love for film by watching, writing or acting in independent projects around Cleveland.


Sarah Corr - Director At-Large

Sarah has been a resident of the Cleveland west side since she was five years old and currently lives in Westpark. She enjoys going out to eat, seeing a movie, cheering on Cleveland sports teams, and spending time with family and friends around the town. Sarah graduated from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY with a focus in Biology with the intention of going to nursing school. Upon graduating, Sarah started her career at a local sports marketing company, where she is now responsible for spearheading and developing client relationships. Looking to get more involved in Cleveland community, Sarah joined The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club last year as a professional member and is now currently running the book club. Always looking to expand her horizons, Sarah has recently taken on new hobbies including; sewing, woodworking, pottery, and is looking forward to all the new opportunities the Club will provide!

Todd Pfeifer - Director At-Large

Todd joined The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club in 2006 and has been an active professional member of the club ever since. Getting the pulse on Cleveland and attending, participating and planning events to network with young professionals still fits his original goals for joining the Club. Improving his networking skills and striving to assist Club members in connecting and achieving their networking goals is what drives Todd’s enthusiasm for his continued involvement in the Club.

Growing up on the east side in Euclid, Todd graduated from Euclid High School concentrating on Multimedia/Graphic Design. Afterwards he received an Associates of Arts Degree from Lakeland Community College and a Bachelors of Science and Technology from Bowling Green State University. Having worked at Advertising agencies such as Geometry Global in Akron and The Adcom Group in Cleveland, Todd’s expertise encompasses Print design (Flyers, Brochures, Catalogs, Proposals, etc.) and Interactive Web Design (Web Banners, Animated Interactive Graphics).

In addition to helping the Club with communications and marketing via his graphic design expertise, in 2014 Todd started hosting the weekly Friday morning Networking Breakfast at Grumpy's Cafe in Tremont which has been a weekly traditional event since 2007.
