Executive Team


     Alex Schauer - President

As President, Alex leads the organization and our board of directors! Professionally, Alex is an Employee Benefits Consultant at Schauer Group, Inc. Alex chose to join the club to be around other Clevelanders at because at one point, he was new to the city.

“I stay because of the great events, people, and opportunities to experience new things around Cleveland.”

Another fun fact about Alex? Favorite Food: “I love a great taco!”



     Corinna Bartholomew - President Elect

Corinna Emma Bartholomew is a Walsh University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After, she attained her Registered Nurse license and started her career as a nurse at the Cleveland Clinic.

She loves Cleveland and everything it has to offer and because of this, served as 20/30’s Social Director now leading to the club’s current President-Elect. Corinna looks forward to devoting her time and efforts to making the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club the best it can be.

In her spare time, she likes to travel, explore, attend church, read, exercise at Orange Theory, and spend time with her family and friends.


     Carly Boyd - Secretary

Carly grew up in Dublin, Ohio before attending the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign studying broadcast journalism and television production. Carly then attended law school at Case Western Reserve University and for the last four years, Carly focused on family law, including any matter before the Domestic Relations and Juvenile Division. More recently, Carly made a change and currently practices in business litigation.

Why 20/30? “As an transplant from outside Cleveland, I wanted to connect with the city and meet young professionals. I was able to explore the restaurants and art galleries while learning about the community.”

Outside of her professional career and 20/30, Carly is involved in the local church and Cleveland PFLAG as an ally/family member. Carly currently lives on the Westside and has enjoyed exploring the Metroparks with her dog, Clancy.


     


     Mike Vuraich - Treasurer

As 20/30’s Treasurer, Mike Vuraich by trade is an Assurance Senior Manager at BDO USA, LLP. When asked why he joined the board, Mike says, “I joined The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club to connect, both professionally and socially, with other young professionals throughout the city and to make a positive impact in the community.”

One of Mike’s favorite things to do is travel to new places.




     Chris Diehl - General Counsel

As 20/30’s General Counsel, Christopher Diehl serves as a banking and commercial finance attorney. Chris believes 20/30 is a great way to connect with Cleveland and with the city’s round professionals.

One of his favorite Cleveland sports team are the Indians – GO TRIBE!

     Hue DeLuca - Communication Director

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Hue’s been a Clevelander for almost a decade! During the work day, Hue is a Director of Sales for Asurint, a local background screening company, but outside of work – it’s all about Cleveland!

20/30 helps her stay connected to the city she’s falling in love with more and more every day – through business, entrepreneurial spirit, and the amazing people. “I love how this city allows you to make the impact you want and however you want!”

Hue’s favorite thing to do is to check out the city’s foodie scene with her husband, Court!




     Brian Castle - Membership Director

Brian grew up in Canton before heading to Ohio State University, where he graduated in 2010 with his degree in Accounting and Finance. After college he moved to six different locations across the country as part of his job with Eaton, having to build a new social and professional network each time. He is currently the Controller for Eaton's Aerospace business located in Euclid, Ohio and has been in Cleveland since 2016.

He joined the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club as a way to grow his social network in the Cleveland area. Brian has enjoyed getting to explore parts of the city he would not have seen otherwise and making connections with people who have made his life better in multiple ways. When not working or attending club events, Brian enjoys hiking, cooking, and taking salsa dance lessons.


     Michael Fitzpatrick - Networking Director

Michael Fitzpatrick is new to Ohio, having arrived in January of 2017 to accept a position with the Boy Scouts of America. Michael has served the Boy Scouts for over 17 years in both field operations and development roles. Though a New Jersey native, he has worked and lived in Maryland, Delaware, and Connecticut before coming to Ohio.

Michael became active in the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club because this group gives entry to new arrivals, connects the engaged, and coalesces the social element that is the sinew of any vibrant city. He believes that inquisitive, bright, and talented people will always seek out their own and it’s in our best interests as a society to make sure we have a place that calls them together and leverages their energy.

Michael holds a degree in psychology from Goucher College, and in his free time, can often be found hiking or volunteering.





     Brandon Hutton - Education Director

As 20/30’s Education Director, Brandon Flores-Hutton’s day job is an employment testing specialist. If you ask Brandon, “why 20/30?” – he would say, “I joined the 20/30 club to help our members make meaningful connections throughout the Cleveland area.” What's your favorite thing? “In my free time, I enjoy drawing. My favorite medium is charcoal because of the level of expression you can put into each and every piece.”



     Ana Shadel - Marketing Director

A nation's traveler, Ana Shadel is the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club's new Marketing Director! Since graduating Ohio University in 2013, Ana has had the opportunity to experience numerous industries and locations throughout the U.S.

From working at Walt Disney World in Orlando, to traveling the world planning events for big name clients in Denver - she's been able to dip her toes in the hospitality and event-planning industry, as well and sales and marketing. Currently overseeing the marketing at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, Ana seeks to utilize her skills and make a significant impact with 20/30.

When she's not working, she's either gaming, adventuring, or socializing!



     Nick Battilana- Philanthropy Director

Nick attended Malone University in Canton, OH and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. Nick is a State Farm Agent in Parma and has been with State Farm since 2011. Nick joined 20/30 to connect with all the wonderful things happening in the non- profit scene, find opportunities where young professionals can participate and make a difference. Nick also serves as Vice President on the board of the Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity Young Professionals.

Nick lives in Parma with his wife, Sarah, and their 2 dogs, Winston and June. Nick moved to “The Land” in 2016 and loves everything Cleveland has to offer.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Nick is a huge Buffalo Bills fan and helped found the Cleveland Bills Backers Bar. But Nick has been an Indians fan since the Major League movies and a Cavs fan since college.



   
     Kara Whaley - Technology Director

Kara grew up in southeastern New Mexico and moved to Ohio in 2010. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology in 2012 from Kent State University. She moved to Cleveland in 2016 and has loved it ever since. She works at Annevar Media, LLC, and currently serves as Vice President.

Kara joined the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club in hopes of expanding her professional network and utilizing her skills to help advance the Club’s goals.

Kara enjoys traveling, photography, reading, crafting, and watercolor painting. She also enjoys exploring new places around the Cleveland area.



     Melanie Raese - Director At-Large

Melanie is from Medina and attended Ohio University where she studied Business and German. Melanie has lived in Cleveland since 2015 and now works at Travelers Insurance as an Account Executive for Management Liability Lines. 

She joined 20/30 in 2016 as the Philanthropy Director and is now a Director At-Large focusing on Wellness themed events.  The Club has been integral in re-acclimating her with Cleveland from a professional and social standpoint and she values paying the positivity forward!

Melanie likes staying active through playing sports, going to the park, watching soccer and she loves to travel!



     Elza Ter-Arutyunov - Director At-Large

Elza Ter-Arutyunov earned her bachelor’s degree in Marketing from John Carroll University and her Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University. She currently works in Public Affairs for Cleveland Public Utilities. After a short stint living abroad in Armenia, she returned to Cleveland and became a member of the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club again, eager to contribute to the growth of the city.

In her free time, Elza loves exploring Cleveland's hidden corners, learning about Cleveland's history, practicing photography and traveling!


    Joe Bianchini - Director At-Large

Joe is from North Olmsted, Ohio, and graduated from Cleveland State University (CSU) with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and promotional communication in 2011. Joe works for Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) and the Cleveland Indians, both located at the corner of Ontario and Carnegie Ave.

Joe joined the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club board to offer     young professionals that opportunity to connect and be a part of Cleveland more, both socially  and professionally at various Cleveland festivities, events, museums, theaters, galleries, concerts and  other entertainment venues.

In his spare time, Joe does a lot! He enjoys watching movies and TV shows, drawing caricatures, playing baseball, footgolf, bowling, volleyball and going swimming. He also likes to volunteer, enjoys selling things at the Berea Flea Market and likes to venture out and about around Cleveland with his family and friends.

 


      Sarah Corr - Director At-Large

Sarah has been a resident of the Cleveland west side since she was five years old and currently lives in Westpark. She is an Investor Retention Manager, where she is one of the contacts for members, at The Greater Cleveland Partnership.  She joined the club after attending a network breakfast and learning about the club’s offerings. 

The goal was to meet new people, but the club has provided so much more opportunities.

Random fact, Sarah will never get tired of the song “Don't Stop Believin” and hopes to see Journey in concert at least 10 times, 4 more to go.




     Melissa Wollenberg - Director At-Large

Melissa is from Cleveland’s west side and currently resides in Lakewood.  She went to Baldwin Wallace College and graduated with a BA in Business Administration.  She currently works  at Nation’s Lending Corporation as a Licensing Coordinator.

She joined the club after attending several Around Towns and other events as the Membership Director in 2017 and is now a Director at Large with a focus on Communications. 

Melissa has a passion for fitness and health and can often be found cooking healthy meals or attending various fitness activities and classes around Cleveland.  



     Todd Pfeifer - Director At-Large

Todd joined The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club in 2006 and has been an active professional member of the club ever since. Getting the pulse on Cleveland and attending, participating and planning events to network with young professionals still fits his original goals for joining the Club.

Growing up on the east side in Euclid, Todd received an Associates of Arts Degree from Lakeland Community College and a Bachelor of Science and Technology from Bowling Green State University.

In addition to helping the Club with communications and marketing via his graphic design expertise, in 2014 Todd started hosting the weekly Friday morning Networking Breakfast at Grumpy's Cafe in Tremont which has been a weekly traditional event since 2007.
