Are you new to Cleveland? The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club is seeking newcomers, transplants, and boomerangers, ages 25-45, to join the third class of Welcome to Cleveland. If you moved here anytime in the last two years and are looking to learn more about Cleveland and meet new friends, we'd love to have you.
"Welcome to Cleveland" is a four-month program designed to help young professionals fall in love with the city. Each event is focused on networking and getting to know your fellow cohort members. The Club believes that networking is an important aspect for helping young professionals build and develop their careers. The program will help young professionals get established in Cleveland by meeting local leaders, learning about volunteer opportunities, and making meaningful friendships and business connections.
The program begins with a welcome brunch at Adega where everyone will meet and get introduced. All program participants have access to a private Facebook messenger chat where participants can connect during the four-month program. The program features four structured and professional events and 2-4 fun and casual events.
March 25, 11:00am -Program kick-off: Meet your fellow classmates - Brunch at The Metropolitan at the Nine
April 3, 6:00pm -Virtual Happy Hour
April 11, 6:00pm - Cocktail-making class OR cooking class
May 16, 6:00pm - Global Gourmet - Explore the many delicious ethnic restaurants that Cleveland has to offer. Learn about the cuisines and cultures of the world through Cleveland's vibrant food scene.
June 13, 6:00pm - Walking tour of a local neighborhood or tour a local museum.
July 13, 6:00pm - Visit a cool new restaurant or venue in Cleveland.
Registration is required!
Applications will be open until March 24.
Cost: $100 or $25 per a month for four months
**Additional events may be added. You are not required to attend all of the events, but we encourage you to attend as many as possible to receive the most benefit from the program.

"I really enjoyed the program, and once I met everyone in the cohort, it made attending other Club events easier. I always saw familiar faces when I otherwise would have been overwhelmed by attending my first event and not knowing anyone. The kick-off brunch was so much fun. We played a dozen ice breaker games to ensure we got to know everyone and learned about our common interests. You could hear our laughter from down the hall. The program is excellent and Melinda, the program manager, is awesome.
