For this month's installment of our Global Gourmet dinner series, we will visit El Carnicero, the creation of chef Eric Williams of Momocho fame.
El Carnicero's menu includes Mexican favorites such as bocaditos, a wide selection of toppings to make taquitos, and an emphasis on a traditional favorite, tamales, which feature house-made masa, the creamy, grainy, corn shell that surrounds the filling.
Guests can also enjoy the restaurant's collection of luchadores, the colorful masks worn by Mexican wrestlers, and a number of other cultural artifacts.
Each attendee will receive an entree of their choice. This event is open to The Club's professional members only.
