We are collaborating with EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute on this volunteer opportunity.

Join us in sorting and organizing clothing and household good donations at EDWINS storehouse of donated goods for students, the Second Chance Shop. This will involve opening bags and boxes of donated items, removing the items, determining if they are suitable for use or wear, and hanging/displaying usable items. Lifting and carrying will be required, and this location features stairs. Clothes suitable for getting dirty and comfortable shoes are recommended.

To get to the EDWINS campus, the Second Chance Life Skills Center, plug 2904 South Moreland Blvd., Cleveland, Ohio 44120 into your GPS app.  That will take you to the EDWINS alumni house, a brick house with blue shutters. Just after that house, there is a driveway. Turn right into the driveway leading to a small parking area near their basketball court. You are welcome to take any available spot.  Go to the gray door and ring the doorbell, and their host Valerie will be there to meet you!

If needed, on-street parking is available on South Moreland Blvd. and on Buckeye Rd.

• Toiletries (shaving cream, deodorant, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, etc.)
• Twin-sized sheet sets (new, please)
• Blankets and comforters (all sizes but new, please)
• Men's socks (new, please)
• Men's underwear (new, please - all sizes)
• Silverware (used - but clean - is OK!)
