Join us on Tuesday, January 13th for a panel discussion involving issues related to the rights of renters, consumer protection, employment rights, protections for homeowners who enter construction contracts, and rights in choosing utilities. We will have three speakers giving ten-minute presentations each, followed by time for questions.
The speakers are:
Executive Director, Cleveland Tenants Organization
Angela currently holds the position of Executive Director for the Cleveland Tenants Organization and has formerly held positions in Cleveland’s community development sector and Cleveland City Council. The Cleveland Tenants Organization educates renters in the greater Cleveland area on their rights and how to handle conflicts with landlords. The organization also provides information for both tenants and landlords, including information on foreclosure, avoiding homelessness, and resolving disputes.

Attorney Daniel Myers is the founding member of Myers Law, LLC. Dan has successfully represented homeowners, consumers, small businesses, and large corporations in a variety of legal matters, handling everything from small claims disputes to million-dollar transactions. Dan regularly conducts seminars and workshops for businesses, consumers, and other attorneys on employment law, consumer law, and construction law topics.
Public Information Officer, Public Utilities Commission of Ohio
Zachary Frymier has worked in the Office of Public Affairs at the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio since 2012. He travels throughout northern Ohio educating residents, businesses, and elected officials about Energy Choice and other utility-related issues.
The event will take place at 6pm in the second floor room of Parnell's Pub on Playhouse Square at 1501 Euclid Avenue. Food will be provided, and the event is free and open to all levels of membership. We ask that you register ahead of time so we have an accurate head count for food.
