This year has absolutely flown by! As the crisp air settles in, it is officially time to kick off our highly anticipated September Hike at the breathtaking, historic Squire’s Castle!

Here is a sneak peek of what makes this specific trek so spectacular:

• Stunning Autumn Aesthetics: This is hands-down one of my personal favorite hidden gems in Greater Cleveland. It is an absolute paradise for capturing jaw-dropping photos of the vibrant, changing fall foliage. ✨
• The Trek: Expect a dynamic 2.5 to 3-mile round-trip journey featuring a few rolling elevation changes. It clocks in at a comfortable medium difficulty, so just lace up your favorite reliable hiking shoes and you will be good to go!
• A Dash of Local Lore: Nestled in the woods sits a stunning late-19th-century relic. Built in the 1890s by Feargus B. Squire, this architectural marvel was originally intended as a grand gatekeeper's estate. Though never fully completed, it remains a majestic, hauntingly beautiful piece of Northeast Ohio history. ️
• Post-Hike Fiesta: Afterward, we are heading over to El Palenque! Since moving out to the East Side, this vibrant Mexican spot has become my absolute go-to obsession. Trust me—their freshly shaken margaritas and authentic tacos are the ultimate reward after a day on the trail!
