You do not need to have attended the first event to benefit from this one! The material is new and nonconsecutive from previous sessions.
Jolié Higazi, CDCA, is a certified life and relationship coach who quit her corporate job to follow her passion and coach people on emotional intelligence, communication skills, and self-discovery.
She’s brought these skills in workshops everywhere from the corporate world, community mindfulness groups, and men’s addiction rehabilitation centers. Her presentation style is funny, upbeat, and educational, while providing a safe place for people to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn new skills they wish they learned decades ago.
In this session, we’ll discuss all the ways we get communication wrong and the skills we need to improve to have the relationships we desire, whether personal or professional.
Attendees will learn how to communicate with radical candor so you can set clear boundaries and expectations with other people, whether it’s a partner, a friend, or a difficult family member or coworker. You’ll learn how to communicate directly while also learning how to nonverbally express kindness, making tough conversations into positive bond building moments.
This will be an interactive workshop where we’ll be practicing real life scenarios to see where our default communication style falls, and where we can each make small changes to be better communicators.
With these communication skills, and the ability to practice them together in a fun, interactive setting, you’ll feel confident about any difficult conversations you need to have so you can have better relationships with all the people in your life.
