Jingle & Mingle at the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club's 20th Annual Stuff the Stocking Fundraiser!
Each year, our organization raises money for a local children's non-profit. This year we are supporting Olivia's Dream (Olivia's Dream (oliviasdream.org)).
From a 2018 news article - "The father of 8-year-old murder victim Olivia Schneider is organizing a toy drive in her memory. Kurt Schneider says his daughter’s wish was to make sure all children receive an abundance of love and joy for the holidays. Thanks to her community, even after her death, that dream is becoming a reality. “Olivia was a gentle, kind student. We had a saying that she was a rainbow and that she was all about kindness,” recalled Lander Elementary School Principal Felicia Evans. However, since Olivia and her mother, Rebecca Pletnewski, were killed in an arson-related fire at their Mayfield Heights home this past November, the school has been working to keep her memory alive. “Olivia really wanted to do a toy drive for kids at Christmas time. So, we said that is a great idea and a great way to help our students, to help our staff and help our Mayfield community really heal from this,” said Principal Evans."
The toy drive continues to take place yearly, and the volunteer run charity has become so much more. "Olivia’s Rainbow Response directly supports children and their families immediately after a traumatic event. Whether it's providing food, clothing, medical supplies, or anything else - we'll be there to help!"
This event will feature networking, raffle baskets, 50/50 raffle, a special guest, and so much more!
This year only - bring in a new toy in exchange for 10 basket raffle tickets. Olivia's Dream will collect these toys to distribute to children in need.
$10 from every ticket sold may go toward the cost of hosting the event. All other proceeds will be donated to Oliva's Dream.
