For our June hike, we will be exploring the section of the Buckeye Trail that runs through Cuyahoga Valley National Park between Boston and Jaite. This will be a longer and more intense hike than most. From the Blue Hen Falls parking area where will meet, the trail runs about 4 ½ miles to Jaite and crosses several gullies and ravines on the way. Since we will hike out and back, this will be about a 9 mile hike altogether with some decent elevation changes on the way. We strongly advise that you wear proper footwear and bring water. Please note that there is overflow parking for Blue Hen Falls on the opposite side of Boston Mills Road if needed. We will meet at 11am and the hike will last 3-4 hours.
